At Victus Dental, we aren’t satisfied with being run-of-the-mill dental practitioners – we want to be masters. To maintain master status, we make sure to stay ahead of the cutting-edge technology of modern dentistry. Our qualified staff is well equipped to use these amazing tools to help you achieve the smile of your dreams. We know that as technology advances rapidly, it can be more difficult to determine what is safe and necessary for you in your current life-stage. We want to assure you that we have finely-tuned all of our processes to ensure your safety and comfort every step of the way. Great oral health is well within reach when you step through our office doors, all you have to do is take it.

Cone-beam CTs

We use cone-beam computed tomography systems to take 3D images of patients’ teeth, mouths, jaws, and neck. Cone-beam CTs rotate around the patients, so we are able to construct an image that is accurate and unique. This non-invasive technology allows us to make educated decisions about treatment regarding implants, root canals, abnormal teeth, cavities, and more.

At Victus Dental, we will never suggest treatment or technology that doesn’t serve your best interest. If you have any more questions about this system or if you or your child may benefit from cone-beam CTs, contact us today and one of our knowledgeable staff members will be happy to provide you with more information.

Digital X-rays

We are proud to offer digital x-rays at Victus Dental. This imaging system emits 90% less radiation than its film counterpart, so we are able to produce a safe and advanced image that will allow us to magnify and observe areas of the mouth.

To do this, we place a sensor in different areas of your mouth. From here, the sensor communicates with our computer to let us instantly view images of your teeth and jaw. Digital x-rays are useful because they reveal areas that may be hidden during an examination. Not only can we see your teeth with these x-rays, but we can also see inside of them. With this technology, we can identify issues like cavities easily and before they become a bigger issue. It’s always better to take preventative care rather than reactionary corrective steps.

Solea Laser

Solea is an all-tissue laser that allows us to do filling-prep without the need for anesthesia or any numbing agents. We have adopted this laser into our practice because it is truly the best option for patients needing cavity attention. With no anesthesia, patients don’t have to worry about being injected with anything or waiting for it to take effect. This means no needles or pinching sensations. We have found that this laser reduces anxiety surrounding the procedure and saves time for everyone involved.

Our use of the Solea Laser is an example of our dedication to our patients’ best interests as well as our commitment to providing top-of-line care with the best technology dentistry has to offer. We know we can’t be masters in our field without fearlessly accepting and adapting to change. Dentistry is always growing and evolving, so we have to as well.

Implants

If you are missing one or more teeth, you may need an implant to achieve your best smile. Implants are artificial roots that are surgically attached to your jawbone, providing a safe and secure base. On top of this base, we use an abutment to join the root of the artificial tooth, called a crown, as well as bridges.

Implants are also used in implant-supported dentures. These dentures adhere to the implants for a more secure fit. Overall, implants give patients the ability to have a smile they are proud of regardless of whether they’ve had to have some or even most teeth removed. As long as your gums are healthy and in good shape, implants can be a viable option for you.
