A sealant is a coating that is applied to the back teeth and acts as a protector against acid from food particles and decay. It’s easy for kids to miss their back teeth when brushing, so a sealant acts as the last line of defense after brushing and flossing. This is a great tool to help prevent cavities in children, but it’s important to remember that sealants are not a replacement for their daily oral healthcare routines, but instead a supplement.

A Laser Frenectomy may be necessary if your child has a lip-tie or a tongue-tie. These conditions develop when the frenulum, which acts as a connector, is formed too close to the end of the tongue and restricts its movement.
